Mark 3 Modular Power System

This is the Mark 3 Modular Power System.

What makes it modular?  This system is built around a stacking principle.  That means you can add or remove trays of batteries.

Each system consists of a mounting module, a control module and then expandable battery modules.  

The control module is where the inverters are mounted.  These inverters have Anderson connectors so they can be added/removed easily, making installation a breeze.

The Mounting module has the mounting plate, the bus bars (for systems 20.48kW or less) and room for 4 X 5.12kW batteries.

The battery expansion module has room for 4 X 5.12kW batteries each "stack" and can have bus-bars installed if needed. 

Optional Extra Cooling Kit:  consists of thermo-electric cooler and an evaporator to remove moisture to keep the system self-cooling for hot environments.  $1000 added option includes the coolers, wiring, self-contained moisture management (condensation), modified airflow/cooling and sealing of the system to operate in a dust-sealed mode.  The optional cooling kit can be used in dusty environments to protect the internal electronics from excessive dust/debris.

Dimensions:  36" long, 25.5" wide and 29" tall; with 13" in height added per expansion module

Mounting:  The mounts are 34.5" on center with 1/2" diameter holes.  There are 12 mounting holes, which only 4-6 need to be uses (2-3 per each side depending on stacks).  The holes are 2" spaced between holes with a usable width of 23".  This allows flexible mounting locations to avoid crossbars/supports.

Construction:  Structure is made of 1/4" X 1.5" carbon steel angle iron.  Inverter mounts are 1/4" thick steel.  The outside is 20 to 22 ga steel.  It is powder coated for long-life.  Grade 8 fasteners are used for load bearing.  Stainless fasteners are used for panel mounting.

Inverter Power is 10kVa with up to 20kVa 6 second surge

4AWG output wire size with up to 100amp breaker, 6AWG input wire with 60amp breaker (per input)

Battery: Epoch V2 elite self heating and waterproof battery 5.12kWh.  Storage size from 5.12kW to 61.44kW.

Has Solar integration - standard is a Victron MPPT 150/45 with Anderson connector input
